THE WEEK IN PICTURES vol. 1

So it´s been almost 13 days since we arrived in Chiang Mai and every now and then I will be publishing a blog post called The Week in Pictures where I´ll be sharing with you what we have been up to. Hope you´ll like it!

You can find many nice cafés in Chiang Mai where they serve yummy vegetarian or organic food. This panini with tuna and celery was delicious!

We visited the Sunday Walking market which is the best market I have ever been to in Thailand.
They sell heaps of fresh juices…mango, durian, avocado, beetroot, passion fruit, carrot….
The market finishes quite late and because we don´t live that close we had to take a songthaew to get back home.

This time from Café Bearista. If you wonder what´s that green thing – it´s Thai green tea. Unfortunatelly, this one was not very good as I think it was made from the powder. The right way is to take a piece of green tea and prepare it with the use of the espresso machine. Then you can feel the real green tea taste.

Stir-fry chicken with ginger. Delivery from a nearby eatery. I will repeat myself - delicious.

  1. Omgosh the food looks amazing! I’m so sad your green tea wasn’t delicious, so disappointing. I love it when it’s served with so much cream on top just like in your pic, I’ve yet to have a bad one in Japan. After two years here I’m finally noticing the nuances in flavours. How long have you been in Thailand?

  2. Hi Wren, thank you for your comment. Exactly, always so disappointing when it´s not done the right way 🙂 This time only for a month, last year I have spent 4 months in Phuket and loved it!
